It's been a hopping day so far. And a hot one too! We have a slight chance of rain but late this afternoon. Since we have struck out the last two days, I'm not even going to look for any rain today. I'll just assume it will be Strike 3! Since hubby bought the Flail mower attachment for the tractor, we decided to sell the bush hog attachment. It was actually an easy sell, as we had not even listed it anywhere or advertised. I was browsing on our Facebook county community page and an older lady said she was looking for one. It turned out that she had a friend looking for one and he came out Saturday and said that he wanted it. He didn't have the cash on him and being a holiday weekend the banks were closed. He also did his banking in Baton Rouge and didn't want to make a special trip to the ATM. He wrote a check and said that he would contact us Tuesday to see if the check had cleared yet. I had called the bank on Monday and they confirmed that the check had already cleared. He picked up the bush hog attachment around mid day today. I knocked out changing out chicken water earlier today and got that over with before the temperature went up. I was glad to get that out of the way. We had a late brunch today since my husband was getting things together for the bush hog pickup. He grabbed a bagel and was ready for food after the pick up.
