Would You Rather ?

In a fictional world where anything was possible, would you rather be invisible but had no control over when you'd reappear. It could be an hour, it could be five minutes... OR... be able to tell if someone was lying but you couldn't help calling them out on the lie? You could get caught if you were snooping while invisible and you could risk turmoil if you were to call out evey lie you heard. Bonus points if you tell me how you'd use that power. Ready? Go!

I can already tell when people are lying. I've seen enough news to become an expert. So, I'd go with being invisible. As for what I would do with that power... You don't want to know. lol

Hahahah. Some liars are better than others. I'd choose invisible too.

I chose invisible too. It could be embarrassing to appear somewhere but a life of calling out lies would shorten your life.

I would like to be invisible so I can observe people and know if they can be trusted.

I read a book about a guy that would appear and disappear and had no control over it. However, he could come back as any age. I don't think I ever finished the book. lol Sorry I haven't answered the question but I can't think this early in the morning.

Use the power of tell when someone lies and call them out discreetly.

There's a good application. You can call them out but in a way that won't create a ruckus. Well done!

I know!! I'd like to say I'd be good but I think we both know that I'd abuse the power, lol.

@Ineeddentures I would imagine that I'd get chased away a few times but if they pulled out a weapon, I could switch back to invisible and escape with all my parts intact. I wonder if people would notice a camera floating in the corner?

I would rather be invisible and have no way of knowing when I would reappear. That would keep me from misbehaving. I’m not going to risk doing anything horrible if I could get caught. The other thing would be miserable. While it would have good consequences, it would also depress me. People could be saying something kind to a child, I’d know they were lying, call them out, and devastate a child. A guy next to me would tell his wife he loved her, and I’d know he was lying, and devastate a family by calling him out. I’ll pass.

It wouldn't be long before people wouldn't want you around if you called out every lie. Being invisible would be hilarious or dangerous depending on where you were.

I don't think l would want that power because what l may see when l am invisible might make me very unhappy. Some things l would prefer not to know....
