Some unexpectedly pretty flowers in the backyard.

Flowers in the backyard

A few months ago I found this succulent plant at a friend's home that I just broken a couple of stalks off of and stuck it into the soil kny backyard. It dried a bit and then grew a bit with some rains and hot summer. After the rains last month, it thrived and suddenly we've got this flower in the backyard that looks soooo pretty. I had to Google to find what it was - do you know what it is.

It's quite a common plant but I don't know its name. It's certainly done you proud. You must have green fingers.

@pitstop I'm glad you mentioned the coffee art. Are you still practising? I hope so.

It's my first time to see this kind of plant. I tried to find it but somewhat the answers I found are not very correct. As this plant's flowers are very special. Sorry I don't know what it is.

I could be wrong but it's similar to a sedum succulent. Sometimes called Stonecrop. There are many varieties and colors but they are good at storing water in fleshy leaves and producing large heads of small flowers. Not necessarily exclusive to Australia. Very beautiful.

No, I don't recognize it. It is a pretty plant, though.
