Rush Hour.

I was not here yesterday. Daughter and I attended an orientation arranged by her college. The event finished almost 5 in the afternoon. We took the train, there were more than enough people to crowd each train coach. People started to pile up since it's the start of rush hour. And it's the first time my daughter will experience this. We got home after 2.5 hours. Rush hour was definitely tough adding a bit of rain is a definite formula of traffic.

Now that my wife and I are retired, rush hour means something completely different than it used to. Now, rush hour begins when we first wake up. My wife, my dog Blue and I all need to use the restroom then get coffee and breakfast. A traffic jam sometimes develops between the bathroom and kitchen and if we don't get Blue out in time, there could be accidents. I hope the orientation went well and your travels weren't too bad. What did your daughter think of her first rush hour?

At least your daughter will have experienced rush hour now. Hopefully, she'll know how to handle herself if she's caught in it again without you. I hope orientation went well and you both learned a lot.

That was a long orientation. It is not easy to ride when there is rain.

Will she be doing this every day once she starts at the college, or is it university? I've forgotten which it is.

University. If she commutes, yes she will be doing that every day. That is the reason we are looking for a dormitory right now

I know what you mean that rush hour can be a pain whether you are on a train or auto.

In an auto maybe worse. Impatient drivers getting pissed off and honking the horn

I couldn't travel on a train like that Too many people in a small space would freak me out And I would need to wear a mask

true, imagine if you have a paper you are holding in front of your chest. If you ride the trainhere on a rush hour, the paper won't be able to drop even when you not holding it. I experienced that before when I was in college

Public transport has become very suffocating these days. I therefore don't use public transport.

2.5 hours are too long to travel. Usually how long do you reach your home while commuting?
