The printer's red light has been blinking nonstop I cannot find out why they are doing so. I am currently troubleshooting, but it appears that nothing is working. Does anyone know about this kind of thing? It was working fine the other day, then now that we need to print something this happens.

What brand and type is your printer? It's always possible you'll need to delete the programming for the printer on your laptop and re-install it. Once in a while, using your laptop disrupts the printer programming and causes problems. That's the first thing I'd try. Good luck!.

@rakski Did you try redoing the programming? The manual for that printer recommends checking for paper jams, ink level and connections... If none of those work, it recommends calling Epson support for help with the printer. It should give a toll free number you can call for support.

Usually the printer sends a code which is later used to explain what the repair needs are.

@rakski Usually printers always record how many times they print and if they have reached the maximum they have to be reset again and have to be searched for.

The printer itself will display the problem have a look if there is no ink or paper jammed or software issues try rebooting it then open the side panel take out the cartridge make it upside down before inserting it back check for paper jam if everything well the it's a software issue try reinstalling it.

It can blink for multiple reasons. One of them could be the need to change cartridge

We've just bought a new printer but Vince hasn't been able to install it yet. It cost less than buying toner for the old one.

Maybe there's no ink or out of paper. Or there's a paper jump.
