15 goats seen running on a highway in Maine

Maine State Police officers in Falmouth Maine answered an emergency call on Saturday June 14 when 15 goats escaped from a trailer became detached from a vehicle while traveling north on the Maine Turnpike.
The driver of the trailer stopped in the median while the goats ran on the turnpike in both north and south directions.
The Maine State Police with the cooperation of the employees of the Southern Maine Towing, Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency, city officials in Cumberland, Cumberland Police Animal Control and Maine Turnpike Maintenance worked together to round up the loose goats and return them to the farm trailer.
The driver of the pickup truck admitted that the trailer experienced a disconnection between the truck and the trailer when the goats managed to run away when the trailer was opened.
No injuries were reported in the accident. Thank goodness.

More animals running on the freeway. I'm glad they were able to return them to the owner and there were no injuries.
