Another session on my aquarium cleanin

I was busy over the weekend, so I'm a little behind on this task. I finally made the decision to do it today, Monday, and after almost three and a half hours of water changes, plant pruning to clear up some clutter, and algae removal—the most time-consuming part of my job because I have to manually remove those hair algae that have sprung up everywhere in every nook and cranny of my aquarium—I was done. I cleared the clogged tubings and cleaned the filters after I was done with the tank. After refilling the tank, I checked it and found algae that I had missed, so I chose to leave it in place and take it out at the next planned cleaning. I'm exhausted but relieved that my tank is clean again, the plants have been trimmed, and my fish have more room to swim.

That's a long time to spend cleaning a tank. I'm sure the fish were happy about it.

Perhaps after the cleaning, but they were stressed out by my constant intrusion into their swimming space while cleaning. I did not take them out of the tank and allowed them to hide there. When I placed the fresh water, they all enjoyed it and swam towards it.

It is true, particularly if you are not a hobbyist. I struggle to get started, but once I do, I lose track of time. Simply concentrate on it and forget about the time.

You've done a good job. The fishes in the aquarium are now happily swimming.

Yes, they hide in the corner while I clean, but they emerge once I add water. They eagerly approach the fresh water and appear to enjoy the clean water.

That's a lot of work there cleaning the fish tank. Glad that you are done. You must be feeling a sense of accomplishment. You are happy and the fish would be happy too. Have a good rest of the day. Do catch some rest if you can

It's true that I felt physically exhausted, but I was also pleased to see my fish swimming around as if to express their gratitude for the fresh water replacement and the open swimming area.

Wow that's tiresome. Imagine 3 hours and a half. Maybe you got a big aquarium.

I only have 10 gallons, but I've planted heavily, which means I need to trim and clean them of the hair algae that grows alongside the plants. The hair algae are the most time-consuming to remove because they tangle with the plants. That's why I have to be careful when removing them.

Aquarium cleaning is such a dragging task to do. Hahaha! I realized I dislike it. But I'm sure I'm still gonna have a big aquarium in my house in the Philippines.
