            Very afraid...
Mattel is adding AI to children’s toys.
“Mattel will bring the magic of AI to age-appropriate play experiences,”
The "magic of AI"? "Age-appropriate play experiences"?
Sounds to me like a way of programming kids to "follow orders" of Big Brother... report on their parents as in George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty Four... or render them incapable of original thought.
Maybe I'm being paranoid or maybe I read too much science fiction growing up. Maybe it's too early in my day to think I'm awake...

AI will soon be proved as a monster. Just wait

This isn't good but I don't have young kids anymore that I can help influence. We, rationally thinking adults, will lose this war of the minds.

Yuck. So glad that I grew up in the 70's and 80's.

AI has no business being a part of children's toys or their learning experiences.
