It raining since almost 20 days in my city. Heavy rain today from 4 a.m in the morning inundation many parts of the city. The city railway station parking space is flooded with rain water. The cause is bad drainage system that are neither cleaned regularly nor constructed to drain out rain water. Illegal encroachment is another reason. Encroachment should be removed from where rain water flows. Some residents have build houses over the drain this is just causing severe problems when it rains heavily. Thank God the top officials of municipality have taken note of it and are working to clean drains and drain out rain water. A picture of water logged Rourkela railway station, my city.

That is serious flooding indeed. The cars are almost submerged. Only the ducks are enjoying it.

The bikes handle can be seen. Thank God the municiality has brought it under control by cleaning the clogged drain. Today we don't have much rain.

Some drains were cleaned yesterday. I don't know what they are doing today.

Its's good that your city officials are taking action and not just ignoring the problem. We've had very heavy rains in different parts of the US and flooding has been excessive.

The officials had to or else the entire city would have been inundated with rain and drain water.

Rain is acceptable unless it doesn't cause water logging and flood. People have been marooned.
