Owasso Fire Department firefighters answered an emergency call from concerned residents on Sunday June 15 about a deer who was trapped inside one of the facility wastewater tanks. The firefighters were able to rescue the deer from being in the wastewater tank by removing the animal safely who was wet from being in the water. The deer was released to the wild after it was confirmed that the deer was not injured. How did the deer wind up inside the wastewater tank is anyone's guess. Link is upi.com/1091750175271 via @upi

Oh what a poor little baby Deer. It's amazing how Deers can get into places they really shouldn't get into. We will never find out why or how the deer got where it did But it's good that it got saved

I'm glad the deer was removed from the tank. It was probably very cold by the time it was rescued.

Aw man, that poor deer must’ve been so confused. Glad the firefighters got there in time—can’t imagine how it ended up in a wastewater tank of all places!

It is a good question how the deer wound up in the tank.

Deers must be able to swim a bit, for it not to have been drowned already. It was good it didn't swallow too much wastewater, as it might have been injured by its doing this.

That is what I was thinking that the deer could stay afloat in the tank.
