Ice plastic balls

We had these ice plastic balls that replaced ice cubes in drinks. They were first frozen in the fridge and placed in an ice pail where guests would pick whatever number they wanted and put them in their drinks
These ice plsstic balls could be used as often as one wnted.
I do not know where they are and in any case we hardly entertain any one these days with hard drinks.
Just sharing a memory

Depends on how useful they are. We hardly entertained anyone with hard drinks specially after my husband retired and that could be the reason why we lost them too

@allknowing - We almost never used them. May be they still are inside a box with other kitchen gadgets.

I have a Ziploc baggie of those in our freezer now... We almost never use them unless someone wants a cold compress. Then we wrap some of them in a washcloth and use that as a cold compress.

@allknowing We have a couple of those in the freezer, too. We don't use them, either.

I was wanting to buy something like for my mother a few months ago. She uses ice in her cranberry juice. She discovered that one of the ice trays she was using broke. But she ended up getting some ice trays so I didn't get them.

Ice cubes dilute drinks and juices but these balls just cool them.
