What you see in the image is a single banyan tree that sprung from the aerial roots that the main tree produced and is situated in a botanical garden near Kolkota The area it occupies can be calculated in miles The aerial roots are reported to be above 3500 in number A road is consotructed around it for viewing It is also a picnic spot I have visited that place.
