So, on Sunday I went to the Fuse festival in Lichfield to sing there with the Lichfield Tuneless Choir. We were told to meet in the left car park by Morrisons (that's why I was checking where it was on Friday), at 10:30am. I gave myself plenty of time. I was going to set out at 9:30am but I ended up setting off at 9:40am. I brought I was going to be late. I got into town at around 10:00am, and then I went up Beacon Street to Morrisons. It only took me 10 minutes, I was really surprised! I'm sure it took me longer than that on Friday. I went round into the left car park, and saw the Tuneless Choir banner in the distance, so I headed for there. It was very hot, but some of us got into the shade. Eventually the guy who works the backing tracks came for us and led us into Beacon Park and round the arena that had been erected, in through the performers entrance where we were all signed in. Then we were directed to a tent that was like a mini Garrick Theatre. We were going to be singing outside of this. They erected the banner again. We sang from 11:00am till 12:00. The organiser, Simon, said it was great. People were singing along as they came in! Sarah said this was just our rehearsal for Glastonbury! Two ladies came in with their own fold up seats and sat listening to us. Sarah went over to see if they had any requests, (from the book!) They asked for Sweet Caroline. Sarah said they were talent scouts for Britain's got talent! I was feeling tired, so someone went and fetched a chair for me to sit on. We ended with Hey Jude, because it was the 40th Anniversary of Live Aid. When we'd finished, I asked which was the way out of Beacon Park! Then a lady called Jan offered to give me a lift home, so I had a lift home with Jan. I was home for 12:15pm and I got my lunch. Did you do anything exciting on Sunday? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

It's nice of you to sing in the choir. Sweet Caroline is one of favorite songs in 1969 when I was in high school. It's popularized by Neil Diamond.
