The spy camera has gone !

The house across the road from us has been empty for almost a year now. The lovely gentleman that lived there died quite suddenly. For months his family did nothing with the house ….they didn’t have much contact with him when he was alive ….but earlier this year they started clearing out the house ….they never seemed to stay long or get very much done so it has taken them several months to get the house emptied.
They have several skips over this time ….the usual rag man comes around and had some stuff out of there …and we have popped over and had a few items.
We did notice that they had put one of those spy cameras in the bedroom window ….bit naughty as it would view our house and our neighbours too.
Anyway ….we don’t do anything we shouldn’t and it was extra security for us …
I noticed that the boards under the skip have gone ….the skip went last week…and the spy camera has been removed.
I am thinking our new neighbours should be moving in any day now ….
Hope they are nice.

@Traceyjayne I see... I hope whoever buys it is fairly quiet in the mornings, at least. You never know, you might get really good neighbors.

@DaddyEvil I’m hoping they are nice ….there is a big drive so I hope they use it …it annoys me when people have a big drive yet leave their cars on the road. We live in a small cul de sac , and there isn’t room for vehicles to pass. We have elderly neighbours and I think ….what if an ambulance needs to come through ! It’s also tricky for the bin men , their lorry is huge and it sometimes has problems..

@Traceyjayne I understand. While houses on our street have driveways, several of them leave their vehicles parked in the street. I always use the driveway and pull well into it so another vehicle can park behind us if we have visitors. (Sometimes visitors pull in but my brother always parks on the street. I don't know why. I park in his driveway when I go visit him or his wife.)
If I'm awake at 5 am, I hear the delivery truck for the restaurant at the end of the street. If I'm not awake, them delivering restaurant supplies always wakes me up. (That's still better than the grandkids at the older neighbor's house. Two of his granddaughters come over by my bedroom window and lean on our house to whisper secrets in the early morning... I try to ignore them but they burst into giggles quite often. 
I keep telling Pretty I'm going to open the curtain on that window and yell some of their secrets to the neighborhood and see if they'll find some other place to talk in the early morning.
