It’s raining ….and I’m back on the coffee !

After living through what the weather forecasters were describing as ‘ a heatwave ‘, we now have rain. As we always say in this country ….well the garden needs it !
With the rain though has come the chilly weather ….so cold today that I have had to make a cup of coffee …of course I had to have Baileys Irish cream in it too.
It has warmed me up but I certainly won’t be sitting outside today !
What’s the weather like where you are ….what are you up to today ?

It rained during the night here and is foggy now. I won't be sitting out on the front porch watching the day start up. 
Our temp this morning is 71F/22C.
Around 9 am, I need to call my doctor and talk to someone about my right eye. I've been having a lot of allergic reactions to the pollen and dust in the air and my right eye doesn't want to open... It looks bloodshot and was hurting but is feeling better, even if it doesn't look better. She may want me to come in and let her look at it this morning. We shall see.
I hope your day warms up and you enjoy it.

The rain has stopped ….for now ….still chilly though.

@Traceyjayne Thanks... I'm not sure if I should call my GP or if I should call my eye doctor so I'm trying the GP first.
The fog is lifting but we still have heavy cloud cover. The temp is still the same.

Coffee and Baileys 
Late yesterday afternoon we had thunderstorms and they lasted into the later part of the evening. Heavy downpours and the power flicked on and off a few times. I was worried the power would go out and with the heat and humidity the a/c would be off. Thankfully the power didn't go out and today is cloudy and looks like more storms. Ugh.

We have had a few thunder storms recently. Our power has gone off a few times, but fortunately not for very long.
