Back home with Mom

So as some will know for the first time since breaking my arm I have spent a couple of days at home on my own. I have been at my Moms during the week and back home with The Mister at the weekends …..he works away Monday to Friday. I thought that now my arm is starting to heal , and my Mom really needs a break I should try and start to do a few more things for myself. My Mom is 87 now and washing and dressing me, as well as the extra washing and cooking has really tired her out over the past few months. So I have had two days on my own. When I spoke to her this morning she asked when I was going back to her house and I knew she wanted me to return….she has been worried about me coping on my own….knowing that I would try to do too much ! Anyway, we agreed that I would come back today ….she sighed a sigh of relief….and she had already got the dinner ready …. So here I am back with her for a couple of days til Friday. She did say ….i know now you have done it once you will do it again …and I will, maybe an extra day each week….see how we go.
