A neighbour gave me three cherry tomato plants a couple of months ago …..I love all tomatoes but there is something about the small cherry ones that I really like. They are easy to snack on.
This year I have more flowers than e er before on all of my plants , and of course all flowers become yummy tomatoes. You can’t beat the taste of home grown and freshly picked food of any kind.
Do you grow any fruits or veggies ?

Yes, I have a few tomato plants out in the garden that have been badly neglected. Cherry tomatoes were the best producer for me last year in the tomato variety. I have squash, a couple watermelon plants left, although I doubt they survive let alone produce, and the cantaloupe plants I believe have all bit the dust. Not sure what else is out there. I ended up with a rash for 8 weeks and didn't get to do much out in the garden. Maybe next year we can get back on track!

I'm so jealous! I always grew cherry tomatoes as well as sweet peppers at every place we've lived. When my eyesight got bad enough that I can't see some days, Pretty said she was tired of watering my plants outside so I can't grow tomatoes or sweet peppers anymore. They die if they aren't watered every morning...

Yes that’s true …im lucky that ours are on the patio and Mom waters them every day.
Shame that you had to give up growing them but I understand why ….and it’s a lot of work for Pretty.

Looks like you are a gardner just like me. Even I try to grow whatever vegetables I possibly can. So I don't want to buy them from the market. Another thing is gardening gives a lot of mental satisfaction and the time spent doing that work is really quite relaxing.

I am not amazing but I do love gardening and yes, I find it very relaxing, with the added benefit of having free fresh fruits and veggies….totally free of nasty sprays etc.

@Traceyjayne That's also one of my targets - to use as many fruits and vegetables without sprays as possible. And I am also learning quite a few new things and gaining experience in the field of gardening.

I love all tomatoes but like you the cherry ones are my favorites. You're so lucky to have those home grown tomatoes because nothing beats home grown. Nope, I don't have any flowers or veggies growing.

I imagined you as liking the small ones
I have no idea why.
They are easy to snack on right enough
Why not make your post a bit more visible by adding a photo, posts with photos do much better, I posted a photo of me once in 2006 and had about 490 replies until I was deleted in 2008
I grow Raspberries
Wait till you see them
It's going to be a number crock
Do you like Top Cat?
