Good late morning to ya'll! The day is turning out just as I expected and predicted yesterday. The hubby wants to go run errands today. He has something on his want list that can't wait. So that is what we are going to do. I will add grocery store to the list and that will be our last stop for the afternoon. We slept in this morning, had a cup of coffee earlier, but now on to coffee and biscuits. We will do a late lunch today at the Golden Corral. What are you doing today? Routine or special plans? See you all later!!

I guess it's routine for us. We're just staying home in the A/C today... Have fun and remember to drink plenty of liquids in the heat.

We did! I am still winding things up here. I shut the computer down the other day when that storm came through and I have lost some of my passwords that were saved on computer. It's very annoying.

@kareng I made a separate file from the one my laptop keeps that lists sites, passwords and the email address I use for each site. I use Notepad to save files like that. It's still on my laptop but won't be wiped out unless my entire laptop is killed.

@DaddyEvil I had done that in a notebook for my laptop, but didn't for the new tower computer. It is very odd how some passwords stayed and others did not.

Oh he had to get a longer third link for the flail mower. That attached it to the tractor. A piece fell out of the one that came on the tractor and he thinks it was too short, so he got a longer one.

@Ineeddentures Well the old one was trying to disconnect and losing screws or bolts in the yard. That's no good.

We didn't get home until after 6 pm. But I didn't have to cook. We were still full from late lunch. We will be going back Friday if weather permits...that storm is moving in to our area tomorrow and Friday, so may be going on Sunday to get the refrigerator for grandson's dorm room. And market is again on Saturday. So that is all that is on the books other than daughter and grandchildren tomorrow (if weather permits) to come pick up a kitten.

we are flying out later to visit our son in Melbourne so that's special plans for us rather than routine.

@kareng Thanks so much. The situation could be much worse but at least we know more about it now.

My hubby used to go to the Golden Corral on his way back from shows at the IX Center near the airport. It was too far to go there to eat. I've never been there.

It is a huge buffet and this location the buffet is kept very clean. There is always someone there cleaning up to keep it clean. Nice salad bar with loads of toppings, fruit bar, soup, entrees, vegetables, pizza, tacos and fried fish, french fries, okra and sometimes tator tots. Also at night and on weekends they will have steaks, ribs, ham, etc. going on the grill. And then a huge dessert bar with cobblers, pies, cakes, fudge, brownies, cookies, bread pudding, soft serve ice cream, etc. It is maybe $1 more than getting a combo at fast food joints. So a better deal and healthier food.
