Officials with the Grace and Glory which is an educational zoo located in Oswego New York are asking the public to find a female wallaby that escaped from the zoo around dinner time on Sunday June 15.
Officials with the zoo are using drones to find the wallaby named Mac who the officials believe that the wallaby is close to the zoo even though they have not been to capture the wallaby.
The zoo officials are asking the public to notify them if they see the wallaby since the wallaby is easily scared if anyone gets close to her.
Hopefully Mac will be captured by zoo officials and return the wallaby safe and sound back to the zoo. Update is that the wallaby was found by zoo officials two weeks later.

@JudyEv Exactly. I was going to mention this that wallabies are shy animals. Anyone can even make out after seeing the image here. How cute and lovely it looks

The zoo needs to construct higher fences it seems, as escaping animals is a problem for any zoo. It was good it was caught, as it would have been hard to capture, as they are jumpy creatures.

I's good that there are drones these days to find animals that escape from the zoo. When they know some are jumpy animals proper care should be taken right from the start.

It must’ve been quite a chase, but good on the zoo team and community for helping bring her back home.

I'm glad it was caught two weeks later
But, how could a wallaby manage to survive for two weeks away from it's home
