Thanks to the alert thinking of a Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer (JSO) named K. Waters who was maneuvering through a rainy day on Monday July 14 on a highway when the officer took action to use his patrol car's bumper on the rear of a SUV that was disabled with children in the backseat and their parents in the front seat stranded on a highway during traffic,
Officer Waters used the bumper of his patrol auto to move the disabled SUV away from a dangerous zone and into a safe area away any collision with other vehicles/
Officer Waters stood with the family that he rescued until a tow truck and relatives of the SUV arrived.
I am sure that Officer Waters will be given an award by his supervisor for his act of kindness.

The officer took the time to wait until a tow truck arrived too; he certainly did his job well there, and is a credit to police officers for his thoughtful action in helping a stranded motorist.

I am in agreement with you that the police officer went the extra mile to wait for the tow truck.

A true act of quick thinking and care. Moments like this show the real heart behind the badge. An award would be well deserved.
