Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 81 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 94. Yikes. I slept until almost 9am after being up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. It was cloudy when I got up but it looks like the sun has finally broken through. I hope so. I want to work on my tan. I also want to try out that pool blanket that arrived yesterday. Hopefully my pool buddies will be over there. We have such a good time chatting. No other big plans for the day. I need to continue to work on clearing out the fridge. It is absurdly full for just 1 person living here. What's everyone else up to today?

I had a doctor appointment early this morning to check on my right eye. It has been swollen and hurting for over a week and really bloodshot. The eyelid wouldn't open. Pretty opened it to put in the eyedrops the eye specialist prescribed and said she could see it was swollen... The doctor agreed it was infected and prescribed a different type of eye drops but wanted to run a blood test before I started these new eye drops as they can affect my kidneys and she wanted a base-line on my kidneys first. I drove to the doctor's office since it was storming out and I could see well enough to drive there. By the time the doctor was finished with me, my vision was blurry enough I wouldn't have driven if we hadn't taken the car this morning. I drove home okay but didn't go by the highway, just in case. Now I'm just waiting for the pharmacy to deliver the new eye drops. It is almost 1 pm and 78F with thunderstorms this morning. Our high was predicted to reach 91F today and I don't think it will reach that. We have 100% humidity, of course so the RealFeel is 84F now. I hope you're having a wonderful day.

I had my semi-annual GI visit today at the hospital. She was thrilled to see how my shorts that fit two years ago droop on me now like I’m a rapper. Colonoscopy next year. Posted a song you dang well had better know. We have a flood watch so I’m going home for the rest of the day.
