A lamp post and a postbox …..

So we have got a small but very funky garden. The Mister and I do like a find….this may be something we see in a field, something that someone is throwing out or something that we see at an antique fayre. There is some building work happening just down the road from where we live and in the front garden is a lamp post ….the old fashioned type. Also a postbox….still with bricks around it so we know it is a genuine one. The Mister asked how much the guy wanted but it was more than he wanted to pay….however last time he went past he noticed that they had tried to pull up the lamp post and it had got slightly damaged. The guy was there earlier when The Mister went past and he said to the guy he was still interested but with the damage , which he can put right very easily, it would alter the price. To his amazement the guy said if you want it and can move it you can have it …..FREE …. So he is own his way with the van and his tools …. He is also going to try and do a deal on the postbox, as the guy obviously wants things moving now.
