I Want to Enjoy My Sunny Days

Sometimes you get an unexpected compliment of sorts. Take my brother-in-law. He's not that kind of a guy who's going to really let you know something's good, and that's not to say that my song, Sunny Days, IS good. It was just a fun little exercise that I never intended to "release," but based on the comments I got from him and others whom I shared it with, decided to put it out on all the major streaming platforms. "Who is this from?" he asked. I was curious so instead of answer him first, I asked him, "Why?" "I like it," he said, "and I was just curious to have a listen to the original." "I wrote it," I admitted. He seemed surprised. It's not even his kind of music. Hell, it's not even my kind of music. But it was nice to get the compliment, especially coming from him, who would be the last person in the world I'd think would ever offer one.

I listen to it. It sounds good. You created it on Feb. 26 and uploaded on the next day.

Sometimes the best compliments are indirect.

I quite like it. It is indeed something I would listen to whilst smoking a joint and having a Jim Beam
