Rain, Rain....

Go away! We are tired of the clouds, thunder, rain and damp weather. It would be good to see some sun tomorrow morning. We have not seen sun in the last three days. It's 7:10 PM as I write this. I can hear the heavy pouring outside and it's really cold. My feet are cold and I took out some thick socks. Feeling lazy with this kind of rain and cold going on for this whole week. And now my throat is irritating me. I hope that I am not under the weather. Many people are falling sick in the city. Rain is causing a havoc in the state. Many areas are already flooded and our city is also under red alert. Traffic crisis due to rain is making headlines in local newspapers. If it continues like this for another day, government might declare a holiday for schools. Let's wait and watch. Luckily, I carry an umbrella whenever I go out. Here, it can pour at any time of the day and year. The umbrella came handy while walking out of the doctor's office till the pick up point of the cab at hospital entrance. Thank God it didn't pour till I reached home. It took longer than other days due to bad traffic. It could have been worst with heavy rain. The rain picked up when I reached home. My younger daughter was caught in that while coming back home. She was stuck in traffic for good one and half hours, that generally takes 20 minutes. The auto driver had to change the routes due to water logging. We kept tracking her live location and we're getting worried. And she reached drenched. Let's hope that it's bright and sunny tomorrow. We need that for the logged water to dry up. This continuous rain will add to the problem. How is weather at your end? Hope that it is pleasant for you to enjoy your weekend.
