Chatham County Sheriff's Office Animal Resources Center in Pittsboro North Carolina answered an emergency call from a concerned citizen about 10 sheep that ran away from their owner on Wednesday June 18.
The sheep were seen near the Haw River where the officers saw 10 sheep roaming. The ARC officials managed to catch eight sheep. Two of the sheep are still on the loose.,
The Chatham County officers are asking the owner of the sheep to contact them so that the sheep with their owner.
I am sure that the sheep are in animal shelters at this time.

They are pretty, nice horns. I bet a lot of money. Funny how the names we call things never really match. Sure a sheep is a sheep to a wolf and and chicken is a chicken to a wolf, but to everyone else they not sheep or chickens, suckers are devious and will fight.

Wandering livestock can be a danger to themselves and others, so it’s great the community and officers acted promptly. Let’s hope the owner comes forward soon!
