Due to a thunderstorm that hit the Indianapolis area on Wednesday June 18, residents living in the area of 19th Street and North Pasadena Avenue were amazed to see a dome shaped object that landed caused a lot of residents to take pictures of themselves with the object.
The dome that landed on the streets of Indianapolis is an object that protect satellite antennae and other equipment from the weather.
An employee from V2X Technology believes that the radome as it is being nicknamed may have come from a building which is located near Pasadena Street.
The employee does not know how the radome fell from the building on Pasadena Street to a nearby North Pasadena Street other it being caused by the storm in the area.
The good news is that the radome was removed from the neighborhood by the authorities on Wednesday evening with no being harmed.

My guess is that teenagers snuck their way up the tower, defeated the safety barriers and detached it from its mounts and took a joyride through the air filled with screams and laughter. Then safely landed the craft onto the street. They escaped before any witnesses arrived so they weren't identified.
Or the storm blew it down due to poor maintenance on the mounting hardware.
It's likely what happened but my made up story sounds like more fun.

Most likely the wind blew the dome off of the building.

It's interesting that such a thing was blown off, despite the fact that its purpose was to protect satellite antennae from wind. It's a good thing no one from the neighborhood was affected and ended up on the streets rather than in houses or other properties.

@Deepizzaguy Judging by the pictures, it appears solid and potentially dangerous to anyone in its path. A similar incident occurred in my area, but instead of a radome, it involved commercial billboard structures commonly found along highways. Strong winds and heavy rain caused the billboard to collapse onto the road, leading to traffic congestion in the vicinity. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the falling structure severely damaged a parked truck and likely destroyed part of the building where the billboard had been mounted.

That is true since a radome can harm someone in a collision with a human being.

It is odd for a dome object used to cover electrical material fall from a height to the ground.

@Deepizzaguy That's right. Why at all throw electrical objects from a height.

It's good nobody is hit by radome. How far is the satellite from the fallen radome?

The satellite could be in space miles away from the radome.

@Deepizzaguy That means the radome falls from the sky for you said in space. I don't get it.

@Nakitakona The radome is likely high in the skyline of the city. My error.

I am glad it did not land on any houses or cars, or hurt any people.

It is odd that the domed object fell down from the building tower to the ground.

That is true since I have seen these domes that are located at the television stations can destroy a house or human in a collision.

It almost looks like something that fell of a satellite out in space! I'm glad no one was hurt.
