Had to Take a Day Off

My eldest daughter requested me not to report to work as she is not yet better from the rashes she got from her allergy. I was not surprised that the classes in the afternoon were suspended because of the non-stop heavy rains though the typhoon already exited the country.
Work in the government was also suspended as the president issued a memorandum of the suspension in the afternoon. Its quite a good call for it is not safe not only for the students but also to the people who are working outside. But I think there is nothing like this in the private agencies. So hubby is not yet home.
I also had the chance to relax a bit and did some chores at home.
Photo is the screenshot of the issued memorandum.

Yes that was why classes and work in public offices were suspended in the afternoon

@cherigucchi Ah I see. Had the rain start to subside and classes to resume soon?

As tomorrow is July 24, Thursday, I plan to stay in the house and do some chores. Classes are still suspended.

I'm glad you got a day off work and hope your hubby made it home safely...
My Filipino friend in college was also off from school yesterday as the college was closed, too. I'm not sure how long school will be closed... It looks (on radar) like heavy rain is still falling in Bulacan. (He rides a bicycle back and forth to school.)

Hubby went home safe. he said that their work was suspended at 3 pm but his boss called for a meeting at 2 pm so he still went home a little late.
There is already an announcement that there will be no classes again tomorrow and even work is suspended.

@DaddyEvil Just I expected a while ago, I had the feeling that classes will be suspended again and even work. I would have a lot of things to do at home. I also have dogs to take care of.
But still I hope that the rain stops.

I thought there might be suspended classes again... The rain doesn't look like it even slows down for another couple of days, at least.
I hope you find plenty of things to make your days fun. NOT out driving in the rain, please.

If it is raining like that it is good not to go. I see on the news people have to be rescued from floods.
