The window cleaner didn’t come today !

So today should have been the day that the window cleaner comes to Moms. He usually rings the day before just to confirm. He didn’t ring yesterday as we were having storms. I spoke to Mom a few minutes ago and she confirmed that he hadn’t come today. Two minutes ago it started to rain heavily …there would have been no point in him coming anyway. I guess he had heard the weather forecast,
Do you have a window cleaner….or do you clean your own windows ?

I cleaned the front door window a couple of years ago when I was trying to watch for my brother to show up and couldn't see outside. 
When that window gets that bad again, I might clean it again if I need to look outside for any reason. 
We've lived here almost 8 years and that's the only window I've ever felt a need to clean... I keep the blackout curtains drawn so I can't see out and nobody needs to look in from outside. No need to clean them.

It makes me sound (and right now) feel like a real slob but nobody will see the windows if they come over. I'd yell if they blinded me by opening the curtains.

We have someone come to the village. He does a lot of the windows and comes once every two months I think. One of our residents coordinates it all.

I do not have a window cleaner. I do have part timer helper whereby she would help to clean my window.

@traceyjayne I really don't see much point in cleaning windows - that's what these storms are for.
