Chicken and pickled onion baguette for lunch.

Mom and I seem to be having baguettes for lunch more and more often ….it used to be as a treat but it seems to be most days now. They come in packs of two and the offer is two packs for £2 ….making them just 50p each ….amazing value. They are part baked so just take 7 minutes in the air fryer…left to cool and then, today, filled with roasted chicken and a chopped pickled onion…..lovely. What are you having for lunch today ?

I love porridge but only had oat porridge , not had rice porridge.

@rakski how do you make rice into porridge ? I wonder if it is like our rice pudding ….pudding rice cooked in milk and sugar added ….is that it ?

That sounds fine for lunch... I made some turkey salad for sandwiches but I'll need to go buy bread this morning if the car will start and I can get it inspected and tagged.
