I got up early this morning and have been getting my calendar all filled in with all the tests and doctor appointments that I have coming up.
Not much on the books today except go to town and get my medicine that the doctor called in for me the other day.
Rain will be moving in this afternoon and hang around for the weekend. My daughter and son in law had planned on moving the daughter out of apartment this weekend and we are helping. But, in talking to my son in law last night, I think we just may be waiting until Tuesday or Wednesday with better weather in the picture. That is fine with me!
We have lower temps today, but still hot. It's 85 right now with a feels like temp of 95. That rain this afternoon will be welcome to cool us off a bit.

We'll have high 90s again today in my area and we're still under a heat advisory here. Supposedly, the highs will ease down to the low 90s by the middle of this next week. The rain that was being predicted for next Wednesday is now gone...

@DaddyEvil It is a pleasant 74 here right now. Had thunderstorms in the area. It did not rain here at all. Had lightning even, but no rain. Hubby got the yard mowed so that was nice. He will have it to do again after all the rain from the weekend. I'm sure we will get some over the next 3 days.

@kareng We see a chance of rain/storms on Thursday and Friday with the highs predicted in the mid-80s... IF that happens, it will be nice!
We really need to get out and work in the yard when we aren't in danger of roasting alive.

It's still hot a dry here. We had thunderstorms move through last night; but we got mostly thunder and no perceptible rain.

@LindaOHio Same here and it looks like it will hang around for a week or more! Our highs will be in the low 90's and lows in the low 70's. YESS!!!

We have a be heavily clouded sky It rained in the evening, but it didn't last long. But according to the forecast, we would have a downpour anytime between 24 and 26 of the month. I'm waiting for it.

It’s hot. Dang hot! I had a blanket over me when I was in the dentist’s chair because it was cool in the office, but it balanced out real quickly when I left the hospital.
