had a few different ideas for the second installment of this series, but this one? Oh, this one is just the right amount of kooky. A little weird, kind of adorable, and honestly, it made me smile in that “okay, what is this?” kind of way.
So, I was deep in a Google rabbit hole, casually browsing “strange candy” (as one does), and boom—there they were: cocktail-flavored Jelly Belly jelly beans. Yes, really. Because apparently, if you can’t drink your feelings, you can chew them.
Now, full disclosure: I’m not a big jelly bean person. Like, they’re fine. I don’t hate them, but if there’s literally any other candy around, I’m walking right past the beans like they owe me money. But these? These caught my eye. I mean... they sound kind of delicious?
The Jelly Belly "Cocktail Classics Mix" includes five flavors: Piña colada, strawberry daiquiri, mojito, peach bellini, and pomegranate cosmo. Basically, it's like someone spilled a bottomless brunch into a candy factory and Jelly Belly just rolled with it.
Are these the weirdest candies I’ve come across? Maybe not. But they are weird enough. Like, they’re not your average “here’s a boring old lemon flavor” jelly beans. These came to party—with tiny imaginary umbrellas.
So tell me: would you try these boozy little beans? Or is this a "thanks, but I like my sugar and my regrets separate" situation?

They are freaking delicious. I think there are 8 flavors. The gin and tonic some getting used to but the flavors are close to the drinks.
I buy the three pound bag of the 49 flavors every few months. The drink flavored ones are hard to find lately or cost way more than I'm willing to spend.

I saw that the website I found these on it was $2.99 plus shipping and they are the tiny dollar tree bags.
Where do you find the 3 pound bag?

Walmart. Best price per ounce, lol.
I haven't checked Amazon lately.
Score.

@Vikingswest1 I don't trust Amazon all the time. They have lost so many of our packages.
Do you order them on Walmart or get them in deliveries straight from the store like work groceries.

@porwest I mean I know the candy shops like at the beach shops carry them. But on a day to day basis I wonder how much they sell.

@thislittlepennyearns There's an entire business built around them, so somebody must be, and the annual revenue of Jelly Belly is around $200 million.

I'm not a jelly bean fan, but I will eat them if that is my only option. And yes, I've had the booze-flavored jelly beans before.
