According to google, it is a meteorological phenomenon where it is raining while the sun is shining brightly.
I witnessed that while we are going home from the mall. It lasted around 3-5minutes. But here in Philippine folklore or other folklore, it has been said that when something like this happens, a mythical creature or a devil is getting married. I also looked in they sky to see if there's a rainbow but found none.
Metaphorically speaking, this may symbolize life's contradiction. That amidst difficult times, there is always hope.

The sky has been cloudy here for many days, but if sometimes it starts drizzling and when it does so, it is always evening. The whole day is cloudy.

@rakski They have warned us about a very heavy rain from 26 onwards, but till now we don't even have a drizzling.

When I was a little boy, we had a sunshower and dad told me that it was going to rain the next day... Dad was right. Somehow, some of the rain arrived a day earlier than the rest of the rain shower.
