Walmart Haul: Delivery July 27th, 2025

I promise this isn't a very exciting haul. Just stuff needed to make dinner. You'll notice the abundance of both spaghetti noodles and sauce. We had three extra teenage boys when I placed the order, so I bought enough to make enough spaghetti to feed all four of the boys then the pre teen and then us adults. But two of the boys have gone home. So I guess I'll just have some extras for the pantry.
Anyway then the kids were out of sausage biscuits, so I got a box of those. There's also a 12 pack of Mountain Dew Baja Blast that isn't pictures because Chris put it in the drink fridge before I got the picture. I'm tired of us not having all the cups , and the kids having them in their rooms for days. So I bought disposable ones, and I needed some lotion.
Overall, pretty mild grocery haul.

We have never had groceries delivered but maybe there will come a time when we need to.

@thislittlepennyearns If we buy just a few things at a time, we can just walk to the IGA near us. I can see that delivery would work well for you.

@JudyEv I have gotten to where I don't like going into town. There's too many damn people. Especially in the summer.

It's easier for us, cause its saves gas. I don't have to take kids, or tell them no. They know they have to tell me what they want by the time I place the order, or they have to wait for the next one.

@porwest I doubt it. Think about it, we get three to four deliveries a week. So I don't really have a problem with our delivery drivers. Plus I'll just shove them out of the way, you know I will.

@thislittlepennyearns Maybe you have less lazy people there and the customers are actually shopping on their own, so there are less workers filling orders?

Looks like you did very well, I order my groceries once a month when my SS comes in and get Walmart to deliver. I am on the second floor so since my bum knee acted up when the deliver comes I yell out my bathroom window groceries up here and get my delivery,

You shouldn't have to yell, they should bring them right to your door because of your address. We do at least one order a week.

@thislittlepennyearns I have told them to deliver to the back of the house and up the stairs to the second floor but once they pull into the driveway they cannot always see the stairs right away, I do not want them to bother the boys downstairs.

@RasmaSandra We meet ours on the road, at the end of the driveway. Because we are a mile in the woods off the main road. And there's like six houses on the property.
