What's for lunch? July 29th, 2025

I had half the salad left that I ate last night, so I decided to eat it before it got "ooky". So I drizzled some ranch dressing on the salad mixture. Sliced up a whole avocado and tossed it on top and then sprinkles some garlic pepper on top, and called that lunch. I love avocados. I know they aren't for everyone, but I've always loved them. By themselves, with seasonings, in something or part of guacamole. I love them. Plus they have all the healthy fats. Anyway, that's what was for lunch here. The kids had pizza. But they had pizza from the gas station, an American chain I've noticed mostly in the south called Hunt Brothers. It just didn't seem appealing to me. Although it rarely does. So salad is the way I went. What did you have for lunch today?

For lunch I had a little piece of pork steak left, so I ate that, and then mowed down on potato chips dredged in French onion dip. lol

@thislittlepennyearns I had some many, many moons ago from Helluva. But generally speaking, I only ever buy generic so there aren't many options.

salads is a good way to go for something light & healthy as well as something that's not hot to eat when it's hot outside I ate some egg salad hubby had some tuna salad so yeah salad for lunch
