We’re heading bush today

‘Heading bush’ is Australian for heading out of the city and into the country areas. Vince’s brother is coming along with Vince, I and the son from Ireland. We’re only going for two nights and to places where we’ve been before.
At Lazeaway Caravan Park, the owner was into restoring cars and making musical instruments. I’ve written about him before. Then we’re going on to Dryandra, near the old family farm and we’ll be free-camping more or less. There is no power but there are toilets and a small fee for the privilege. I’m hoping the little nocturnal creatures will come out to meet the Irish son.
The photo is from a previous visit. And I’m not taking my computer so I’ll catch up when we get back.

Glad that you had an opportunity to revisit once familiar places and your Irish son went with you ! It would be absolutely impossible for me to know the meaning of heading bush ,if you didn't explain it.

The little creature is a woylie. We camped in a different spot this time and only saw one. We were able to handfeed a possum so that was nice.
