I have not been a success at growing chilies and tomatoes that we use practically in all our dishes.
It is the birds that have destroyed our chili plants and as far as tomatoes are concerned we did not succeed in getting healthy seeds I will ask the maid to pick up an over ripe tomato (almost rotten) from the shop as those seeds will be just right for sowing after they are dried up
Wish me luck

I think she planted too many seeds in the same pot
She can think them out
She removed the seeds from a pepper and dried them out.

You may need to string nets up above the vegetable plants to keep birds from eating all your tomatoes and chilis. Good luck with them!

Chillis and tomatoes are perhaps the easiest to grow. I agree seeds should be good. But you might find seedlings ( baby plants) of chilli and tomoto in the local market. Plant them and you will get the yield more quickly. You may cover the plants with nets to protect them from birds.
