Trump's evolving Jeffrey Epstein drama

I swear the story changes almost every day. I can't keep up with it and I do pay attention to the news. First Trump said years ago that sex-trafficker and abuser Jeffrey Epstein was a fun guy who liked women "on the younger side" like he did. Then Epstein was arrested (by Trump's DOJ) and Trump disavowed him saying they hadn't been friends in years. He campaigned on releasing the Epstein Files and people like AG Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel told everyone that it would definitely happen. Bondi gave out binders of "phase 1" of the files to social media influencers which was information that was all already known. (there has been no release of phase 2) After Elmo fell out with Trump he tweeted that Trump was in the files which is 100% why they hadn't been released. Then Bondi and Patel said that there were no files to release which enraged Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino. Interestingly shortly thereafter Congress voted to block the release of the Epstein Files. . . which supposedly don't exist. For about a week Trump tried to brush off questions about it all saying "are we still talking about this?" His latest attempt at throwing something at the wall to see if it will stick is saying that he fell out with Epstein because he was poaching employees from Mar-a-Lago. He even said that one of them was the woman who was trafficked when she was just 17. (why was a 17 year old working at a spa?) He also has said that Epstein was not a member at MAL when in fact he was up to 2 years after the girl was trafficked. It is a new day so I expect some new version of the story. And has anyone seen Pam Bondi lately? The woman has never met a FOX News or Newsmax camera she doesn't like but she is MIA.
