Good morning from the home of that weird red mascot! Yes, I’m in Bowling Green, home of Western Kentucky University and the Hilltoppers. I’m on my way to the Sultana museum then who knows from there. First things first, the sun! Here’s today’s song that’ll drag you, kicking and screaming, back to the 70s. #2: A Place in the Sun - Pablo Cruise Yeah!! “Whatcha Gonna Do”!!! “Love Will Find a Way”!!! And then…pffft, they were gone. That’s really a shame. Pablo Cruise had a great sound that fit in well with the 70s. This has a dance-but-not-disco feel to it. AND they had one of the coolest logos of any band in the 70s! I had this album, and I greatly enjoyed it. They’re still performing, by the way. However, fifty years on, you don’t want to see them naked the way they were on the cover of their second album (1976’s Lifeline). But the music is still bright and sunny.
