I watch Countdown on C4 occasionally, and Susie Dent also hates the word “Moist”

Personally I have a few. The ones that come to mind are: Diarrhoea, Vomit, Squelch, and No.

Also any “Corporate” words, and there are many of them.

@Traceyjayne Yes, I love Susie too! Almost as much as Rachel Riley.

I’ve seen Gyles when he did his solo tour. He was great. With Susie it would be even better. I subscribe to her Two Words app but haven’t played in a while.

Oh Susie Dent ….i love her. I think off screen she would be quite a character …. I know she did a tour with Gyles Brandreth ….but we couldn’t get to any of the shows .

I agree @jstory07 …. I was not thinking of that sort of hate ….maybe looking at some comments I should have used the word dislike instead. I was just thinking of words that make you shudder when you hear them ….like I said I dislike the word moist …..

We in Scotland sadly do use words we maybe shouldn't but most of us don't use them in a malicious way, But sadly we do have our share of racists here .

It can be worse when you read the word or words Especially if you have never actually heard it said. i dont hate any words I dislike many. Infact the word hate itself is one I really dislike The word is bandied about in all sorts of contexts and nobody ever corrects the person who utters the word when it's used inadvisedly A 10 year old child " I hate bananas" What sort of parents allows rhetoric like that from a 10 year old. I ask you. 10 year old kids shouldn't be hating anything, should they? Dislike yes, Hate, eh no. I say save Hate for things that are hateworthy,
