My Peppie boy is alive

I had some gruesome thoughts about Peppie when he refused food and left the place
Today I closed the bedroom and yes he came and gave me a lusty meow. Spent some time with me circled around my legs but did not eat
I thought I had closed all outlets but he managed to go out again.
He is being fed it seems to me That is enough for me. I will accept the fact that Peppie is now a visitor but soon he will be back his normal self
That is an old photo

Yes we now have two guests Billu these days comes for her food and also leaves after a few hours. And this suits me
I am fagged out taking care of pets. A year after we got marreid we got our first dog, followed by six more and there is no account of the numberof cats we have had Not easy to take care of them the way they need to.

@allknowing - I have the feeling that Peppie is happy visiting you and snoozing in your home and going for food to another place.
Now you have to cats who are daily guests.

I hope that the person that is feeding him does not want to steal Peppie.

@allknowing My youngest daughter acquired Andromeda with food. She had a cat and suddenly she discovered that a younger cat came and stole his food. Instead of being angry, she got another dish and poured cat food there. The cat stayed each day for a longer time until she gave her a name and took herto the vet. Now Andromeda sleeps in Sofía´s room.

It is all in Peppie's hands. He has a fixed schedule. He comes here around ll in the morning and spends a little time with me and snoozes for a few hours and then he leaves this place.
If this suits him it suits me as well.

He did not forsake me. He came here every day But now there are some developments. I bought some fish for him which was not easy and now he sticks around and only wants fish and that is bothering me

@Ineeddentures Ido not mind it at all. All along we served our pets and we loved to do it.

That’s a little hopeful turn in Peppie’s story. His meow, the leg-circling—it’s like he’s reminding you, *“Hey, I still remember this is home.”* Even if he didn’t eat, that moment of connection says a lot.
And yeah, cats are escape artists—if there’s a way out, they’ll find it. If he’s being fed elsewhere, at least you know he’s not starving. It might sting a bit to see him more as a visitor now, but your love for him hasn’t changed—and maybe, with time, he’ll find his way back to his old rhythm.
For now, he still comes home. And that’s something.
