Fire on the mountain

There is a fire on Mt Nevo across the highway from us. They are not even sure how the fire got started. It has been four hours and it is still burning and has not been put out yet. There was an airplane going around the fire about a dozen times and than it left. I hope they put it out soon. We should be safe it would have to cross four lanes of highway. Than across the river and up the hill where I live. But I do hope it is put out soon. The picture is mine taken by me.

Oh no! I hope they get it put out. They can spread out of control quickly. Do you have some things put together in case you need to leave?

I think the worse is how air quality goes to crap in general. We are the same way with exception of rivers. We do have a dry river bed, but its really far for most wild fires to get to us. I seen the whole mountain on fire where I live, but so far, even the ashes have never spread here. I am glad you sound pretty safe and hope they get it out because they are not fun no matter where you live.
