What effects may having a side hustle have on someone's life?

In my view, it would be wonderful if I could have a side hustle. In this way, I can have an extra income. One of my side hustles is not doing well. So, I am hunting another job to compensate for this. My country's economy is greatly affected after the pandemic. Working overseas is still an option. Since my biological parents, no one in my family's relatives wants to lend a hand. That is the reason why I have been missing them lately. The love and guidance of them cannot be replaced by anyone.
Any thoughts about it?

It depends on the side hustle... Some of them are a lot of work and can cut into the time you're working your main job. I hope you find something you like doing and can make decent money at it. Good luck!

Your honesty really shines through. Wanting a side hustle to ease financial pressure is totally understandable—especially when things aren’t working out as you’d hoped. A lot of people are in the same situation, trying to navigate a tough economy still feeling the effects of the pandemic.
The idea of working overseas makes sense—it’s a big step, but sometimes the most practical one when local opportunities feel scarce. And the emotion in your words about your parents is clear. When you’re shouldering everything alone, the longing for their support and guidance hits even harder. That kind of love leaves a gap that’s hard to fill.
You’re doing your best in a difficult situation, and that matters more than you realize. Keep searching, keep pushing forward. Something steady will come your way—you’re not alone in this.

I am sure things are different in the Philippines on many levels, but here in the United States, one of the biggest downfalls of side hustles is little if anything is contributed to "work points" and monetary contributions to Social Security, and because one is working as an independent contractor, taxes are higher on the earned "wages."
In any event, I hope things work out for you. It's definitely harder to get ahead in an economy that doesn't necessarily support it or offer it.

Find something you think you can do , or sell and just go for it .
You won't know until you try.
