@traceyjayne Not so fussed on Chinese but I do like Japanese. Was at a Japanese restaurant on Sunday - becoming quite adept at chopsticks - had Chicken kimchi ramen.

Do you eat Chinese? Not so much these days It's not what it used to be sadly. And like everything else it's over priced. What do I like? There wasn't much on the menus I wouldn't eat except the European crap. Chicken Curry , Chicken and Pineapple, Char Sui, Foo Yung, Kung Po, Schezaun anything, And cat , and seagull I sh1t you not, I have had both from a Chinese

We do have a few excellent Chinese restaurants close by ….and the takeaway we use is the best ….we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

@Traceyjayne I think that my experiences in recent years with Chinese food had been better in England than up here sadly. There's one really old school " Chinese" in Newcastle, wow, like a step back in time. Excellent Up here I don't think anything is cooked in house anymore It's not great

I know some do eat cats. But not too sure about seagull. Yes pigeon definitely. In some part of Canton, not sure if now you can still get it, there is a dish that they called the heaven dish, made up of cat, dog and snake meat. Nobody I know eat this before as the chinese are now more protective of the cats and dogs even through some still eat dog.

I eat chinese almost everyday. It is a part of our staple diet as I am an oversea Chinese. But we do eat other stuff besides the chinese too.

We just got cashew chicken yesterday... I don't use chopsticks unless I want to throw all the food in the floor. I saved one chopstick to use to clean the drain in the kitchen sink.

Chinese is my absolute #1 favorite ethnic cuisine, with Mexican being a close second. I get fried rice, beef broccoli or pepper steak, we usually get orange chicken or General Tso's. We get egg rolls. We get mei fun. We get lo mein. We get crab Rangoon. Let me just say, that's good eats!
