Watching television

Looking at the black and white image you would have guessed that this scene used to be in households years ago The situation has changed in leaps and bounds Today there are televisoins in each bedroom, there is the smart phone where one can watch what they want to sititng in their favourite corner. Each member of the household has different tastes when I wonder how was it that in the good old days they all managed to do things together What is the scene in your household?

We had multiple tv back then. What was interesting is that I still manage to watch black and white tv when I was younger. No more sales of such tvs in the 80s but my aunt still have it. So i watch late night movies with it.

Not exactly the same, we kids sit on the sofa, my parents and my grandmother had an armchair. There is only 1 channel, so no problems to argue about what to watch.

@allknowing We only have one TV, but we have also computers. If my husband wants to watch something I do not care to watch, I come to my computer and I watch a YouTube video.

My parents never had a black and white TV, and they only had one that was in color with only 8 channels, and it took a lot of effort to buy it. We were once targeted by thieves so we lost our television and scissors. When I was a kid I didn't really like watching TV, I just played video games (No sofa or seating so I just sat on the floor). Everything has changed, from CRT to LCD and broadcasts are now digital without us having to rotate the antenna like when it was still analog.

Dad controlled what we watched. If he didn't like it, you didn't get to watch it. If mom and I didn't like the show, we'd read....

@allknowing Pretty and I don't watch television. Our television isn't hooked up to anything except her gaming consoles.
