It Will Clash with My Decor

How many times have you said that when trying to decide what you want to put in a room? Probably many. When we decorate our homes, we tend to try to match the decor in some way or another. Sometimes a little contrast is good, but you don't want to get too crazy, otherwise things will look badly out of place.
As the battle rages on yet again with our pool, having been restored to a pristine blue just a week ago, the algae are once again doing their magic and turning our pool green.
We're on it, though. We won't let it turn to pine green. Right now, we're probably about the color of a cabbage on the inside once you peel off a layer or two. That's manageable.
But if it gets too away from us this time, I might just resort to telling people I prefer to have the water green to match my trees and grass. Blue would just be too much and clash with my decor.

@porwest I stand corrected then. Carry on with what you’re currently doing. Who wants to enjoy the pool anyway? Lol

@moffittjc Yeah. That's for suckers with flamingo floaties. I much prefer using foul language and pissing and moaning. You have to know where the fun is, man. lol

@RasmaSandra I have heard baking soda actually does help the pool. I might have to look into that.

There were summers that my parents had a terrible time keeping their pool water clear. We used something called super shock.

@porwest We weren’t able to swim right away when we added it. The waiting was hard.

@Tampa_girl7 Generally, when we're using it, we only use it on the weekends, so when there are things we have to wait for, we try to do those during the week.

Maybe you need a professional to take a look at it.
