It's another Monday and I'm up before the sun rises. We get up so early so that we can spend time together before he goes into work. It works for us but it is tiring. The weekend was a good one. Dad was transferred back to the NHC rehab. You can tell he's getting better because he's so dang cranky. It happens though. The idea of an assisted living apartment or whatever is still in play. We just haven't really talked about it any more. We did talk about getting another puppy for cuddles to play with. She is so active and so very dependent. I think she has abandonment issues, I swear. We're thinking that it would be nice for her to have another dog to play with when we're not around. We had out Department meeting Sunday. Nothing too exciting going on this month. Our training this month will be more water shuttling. We all really need to practice with the rural hitch. It's what we use the most of now on scenes. Today I have to take the dog to the vet. It should be fun since she's never been in the car with me before. After the vet though, I'll take her to see dad. He hasn't seen her in about two months now. It should be a great reunion. I have some orders to do but mostly I think I'm gearing up for fall and Christmas. I'm trying to get into a craft show in November and one in December. I think that I can make that work. All classes should be done by then and I will have a clear schedule. It's my fault I haven't done the shows this year. I chose classes over money and I'm not sorry. Not really. I can make it up. I haven't even had a yard sale this year so far with everything going on. I usually have at least one. I know that the summer isn't over yet but it's really not looking like I'll have time. We start prep for our Fire banquet this month and it's actually open to everyone that wants to help this year. So I will be sucking it up and going. If I don't change my attitude I'll never make lieutenant. I have to let things go and just make the best of what I have. Adapt and overcome lol, it's easier said than done. I'll get there though. The Banquet is the first step. All cats have been fine since Willow. We've been keeping an eye out on them and everyone is good. Raja is my little shadow and they all love my husband. I know that they can't replace Willow but at least the love is still there. Went out to feed the boys this morning and my husband's Bob was there. Big freaking possum. Huge. I hate it when it just appears. The male stray had Nemo cornered and the possum was just over there eating the cat food. I've been playing around with my books for a while now and my husband hasn't complained once. He's awesome like that. I do a little bit every day and it makes me happy. I'll get them all up and organized again at some point. Probably when he goes to to TFACA for a week. I've been doing computer work and it's been going well. I spent the little bit I put on my amazon account on ebooks. Go figure lol. I have a few bigger ones though that I haven't put on yet. Once I do, I think I'll save them. I want big things so it'll be better to save them. I'm still reading Hidden Nature. It's good, I just need time lol. That thing I never seem to have enough of lol. The Carrie Ann Ryan ARC is waiting for me too. I'll get there. I'll have time tonight I think. As long as he doesn't have to go back to Nashville lol. I need to glue the back of the Cinderella puzzle and it'll be good to go. I just keep forgetting about it. That isn't a time thing, it's a memory thing lol. Today is the vet and mostly work in the shop and cleaning. I have a to do list about a mile long in here to get done. The house needs vacuumed, the dishes need done both in the sink and the dishwasher, my craft supplies need organized, the yard sale stuff needs organized again and the bathroom needs cleaned. I'm really hoping to get more stuff sold online since I haven't been able to have an actual sale. I keep trying though. I won't give up. Some things I'm giving away now and some I still sell. Depends on what it is and what I need at the time. I've been giving a few books away lately and selling some. Fingers crossed I have the old mower and walking edger sold on Friday. This guy seems to really need it so I'm happy to get rid of it. Everything else down there is trash. It's been out in the rain way too long. We'll get that taken care of this weekend. It'll probably be two trips to the dump but it'll get my yard cleaned up. So what is everyone else up to today? My mind is going a million miles a minute lol.
