Another fun fall destination

I had decided I wanted to go to that Natural Tunnels Park I had written about the other day. That is pretty far away though, and an overnight stay would be needed. I did find another interesting destination though. which is closer by and would be really nice, when the leaves change. There are 3 fall destinations in the mountains. You go to each by a scenic train ride. Each leaving from and returning to a destination not super far from here. It would be an easy day trip. Friend would really like that one, as no real driving is required. Probably couldn't do both trips, but we will see. The trains sound like fun, and I haven't done anything like that for years. Do y ou have any trips in mind for the fall?

Yes, there was a steam train in the mountains in Wet Virginia, I used to go on with my first hubby. That was a lot of fun.

That sounds nice a round trip to see the colours of Autumn. I have no trips planned except to Dover where I was born as a surprise birthday party in September. I can't wait to see my family again. Hotels booked, trains have been booked so it is just waiting for it to arrive. Have a great trip!

We aren't planning any trips at the moment... We'll see what happens. Trips for us usually are close to home in case my eyes start swelling up. We don't want to be stuck somewhere for an indefinite time.
