Pedro does not like to look at the camera. He had rather look at a food dish.
This is the area where they shaved him down and then popped the pellet from the gun out from under his skin. The yucky looking place is actually a type of paint on bandage.
He does not act like it hurts and was even licking it today. The hair is already growing back in well.
I will get some better pictures at some point. He is a very relaxed kitty cat.

I'm glad he's not in pain and I'm sure he'll be causing you all kinds of kitty mayhem soon enough. 
Sometimes I use the paint-on bandage stuff on myself if it's in an awkward spot. (It smells like nail polish but feels like rubber when you peel it off.)

I was taking a survey this morning that required me to take some photos of the kitty for a database of cats of different weights. He classifies for the normal range. He eats like a truck driver, but I think he has a fast metabolism. I am sure Pedro will be OK.

I still find it a bit shocking that someone shot the poor wee boy.
Then to make matters worse I saw something more unsavoury on the national news
