Natures fury in Uttrakand.

A complete village had be washed away in Uttrakand due to heavy rains and land slide. Narrow drains, river side construction and improper town planning is said to be the cause of this disaster. People were not warned well before hand and lot of lives have been lost. Our politicians need to wake up from their slumber and think about the safety of the people living there.

@aninditasen We had been to aUttarakhand a few months back, and recently were planning to go there again via Ayodhya. And just then this deluge took place. We thank God, too.

That is really sad. Frequently those in charge wait for a disaster to happen before they opt to do anything..like all the lives that were lost in that flooding in Texas.
