Had a Terribly Expensive Lunch Today

I'm too embarrassed to say how much it was, but it was a LOT!
We were busy this morning running errands to meet with our bank and to meet hubby's mother to get copies of some documents, so we ducked in a place we haven't been in several years that was convenient between one point to home.
It was The Cheesecake Factory.
We got 3 appetizers, a glass of water, and a diet coke. The bill was outrageously high. Seriously, embarrassingly high.
We will probably never eat there again.

I was there a few months ago. I got one appetizer and a piece of cheesecake It might have been 20 bucks or more, but it was delicious and I didn't feel I overpaid.

I have never been to The Cheesecake Factory. My son did. He brought me and his Dad pieces of Cheesecake to try and I remember liking it.

I haven't eaten there in many years but when I did I thought the prices were higher compared to other places. I don't doubt that their prices are very high now.

Oh my days …that place sounds like heaven. Pleased you enjoyed it , but it’s a shame it’s so expensive.

Before the pandemic, we ate at The Cheesecake Factory in St Louis, Missouri. It was good food and fairly reasonable back then. We rarely go that far from home anymore so I have no idea if their food prices have gone up a little or a lot since then. We just wanted to try it out. (I don't like cheesecake but Pretty does.)

You make me remember the days when my mom and I lived in NYC, We had a couple of neighborhood favortie restaurants and could enjoy a meal now and then and even some cocktails,

Haven't been there in years, but I remember it was very expensive. We recently ate at a Gordon Ramsey kitchen and it was way, way too expensive. Food wasn't that great, either.

I once paid $25 for a TAKE-OUT dinner. It lasted more than that one night, but way too expensive, despite the food being great.
